Barry at years end
As I come to the end of the year working with Barry managing and overcoming his weight and health issues, we have now just hit two big targets.
Firstly today we managed our first uninterrupted 6k run which is fantastic as he only started running for the first time a couple of months ago.
More importantly, after at least 3 years having to use a CPAP device (a device used whilst sleeping to avoid sleep apnia) and following his recent check up, the NHS has asked for it back as his no longer needs it.
Its amazing what difference a year can make and it feels good as a personal trainer to see the benefits of working closely with someone to improve the quality of their life.
He does however really hate the running and I suspect this is one element he wont keep up.
