A good year so far

At the beginning of this year I started working with Barry from Attleborough on a weight loss and fitness program.
At just over 21 stone our plan was for him to lose 9 stone over the 12 month period.
By the end of August he has lost 6 stone and is well on track to reach his target.
The revised diet plan did not cost him more but has saved him money each week.
In addition to the management of his food and drink consumption, I introduced a progressive exercise plan including cardiovascular and weight training.
In August he took his first run, ever!
He has been able to come off his blood pressure medication and is now looking really good.
A fitness trainer can provide some much needed assistance during these times but in the final analysis, a person has to want to achieve these goals, it is only through their own hard work and dedication that these types of results can be achieved.
I'm very proud of Barry and will post the photos later this year when we finally reach target.
Little does he know though that I plan for him to do a 5k run by the end of the year as well!!!
